About The Position

As a member of Apple’s Privacy Legal team, the Privacy Counsel advises and supports teams on privacy matters affecting Apple products and services globally. The role works alongside legal, engineering, and business teams to develop privacy solutions and address cutting-edge issues. It supports teams working on Apple’s Siri and AI efforts and reports through the Privacy Legal team’s product counseling group, collaborating closely with privacy policy colleagues to advise business and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, regulatory and other guidance, and standards.
• Deep understanding of U.S. state and federal sector-specific privacy laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly organize and convey information.
• Experience quickly identifying issues, analyzing complex legal questions, and clearly communicating privacy advice.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• At least 4 years of privacy experience as an associate at a premier law firm or in a business.
• J.D. or equivalent degree.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
