About The Position

Infleqtion is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial & Strategic Transactions to report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and serve as a key legal partner for commercial contracting and strategic transactions. The role works closely with commercial, product, engineering, and operational leaders. Approximately 70–80% of the work focuses on complex commercial contracting and strategic transactions, with the remainder covering broader legal generalist responsibilities in a lean legal team supporting a NYSE-listed company. The role requires transactional discipline, sound business judgment, and effectiveness in a high-growth, technically sophisticated environment. The Senior Counsel will support commercial and strategic agreements, help structure high-impact transactions, and provide practical risk-balanced guidance that enables revenue generation while protecting intellectual property, regulatory posture, and public company obligations. The position also contributes to public-company and operational integration, scalable legal processes, team training, and cross-functional corporate, regulatory, and governance matters. This is a builder role for a lawyer who wants to help shape the operating model of a scaling public technology company. The position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations for quantum computing technology. An employment offer may be conditioned on authorization to receive controlled software or technology without sponsorship for an export license.
