About The Position

Plan, prepare and analyze accounting, estimating and program financial/operational data for management and/or customer review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
• Minimum of six to eight years of financial analysis experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

• Background in project management or project controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedule using critical-path-method (CPM) scheduling techniques, including working with Control-Account-Managers (CAMs) to provide monthly status updates and percentage completion assessments.
• Compile and analyze cost and progress data in accordance with the estimate-at-completion process to establish cost and schedule indices/variances.
• Calculate and document variance-at-completion.
• Monitor and maintain status of actual cost incurred on assigned projects, interpret data, and provide corrective action recommendations for management review.
• Analyze cost data for discrepancies from budget, notify management, and assist in development/implementation of corrective measures when necessary.
• Plan and prepare compliant cost proposals in accordance with FAR 15.4, and provide support during proposal audit and negotiations.
• Maintain FAR compliant pricing system for current rates and adherence to estimating and pricing guidelines.
• Make recommendations for procedural improvements to increase operational efficiency for the project controls job function.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
