We are hiring a Senior Cost Manager to oversee cost controls for a data center client. This role will be at the client's data center site in Prince William County, Virginia. Come join our team!

Requirements

  • Prior data center construction experience highly preferred.

  • Proficient in measurement and having a solid understanding of different trades, procurement strategies, and delivery methods.
  • Ability to quickly analyze, compare, and interpret detailed but sometimes poorly defined information.
  • Ability to read and interpret various documents such as Arch, Civil, Structural, MEP, Geotech, Site Logistics, and Schedules.
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment.
  • Ability to understand contracts and specifications and review construction schedules.
  • Current up to date technology and software knowledge.
  • Proficient in excel.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  • 4 to 5 years in Cost & Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation
  • Professional accreditation – MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and monthly cost reporting.
  • Administer contractor and vendor commercial accounts, including valuations, payment applications, change management, claims, and final accounts.
  • Support procurement through tender preparation, bid evaluation, commercial negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Develop and maintain project cost plans, benchmarking, value engineering initiatives, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Monitor project commitments, risks, accruals, and forecasting to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Prepare financial reporting, lender drawdown documentation, and funding support.
  • Maintain commercial governance, audit trails, and compliance with project systems, reporting standards, and document management processes.
  • Lead commercial aspects of project close-out, including final account reconciliation, benchmarking, audits, and lessons learned.
