About The Position

The Senior Cost Analyst supports the use and administration of multiple software packages, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Axapta CRM, and the Axtend BI tool. The role serves as the Global Administrator for Salesforce.com, handling database maintenance, data governance, content management, end-user training, troubleshooting, and planning future phases and rollouts. It also creates pipeline reports, dashboards, and list views to support the business.

The position analyzes transactional sales data and trends, measures performance against sales plans and quotas, and supports short- and long-range forecasting requests. It collects, analyzes, and reports sales data with conclusions, ideas, and guidance for leadership. Additional duties include preparing and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and providing customized ad hoc reporting and recommendations to support business needs and initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with Salesforce.com is required.
• Experience with business intelligence and report writing.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working experience with Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to quickly learn new analytical techniques and related tools.
• Ability to assist sales team members with a variety of questions.
• Strong self-initiative and ability to support recommendations with sound thinking.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain complex programs that analyze data, organize it, and create reports from various sources.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant experience in the technology industry.

Nice To Haves

• Salesforce.com Administration Certification preferred.
• Business or computer science field of study.
