About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support precision manufacturing operations. This individual will serve as a key finance partner to operations, providing deep cost analysis, inventory oversight, and financial insights that drive data-driven decision-making across the business. This is a highly technical role requiring strong expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, ERP systems, and data analysis.

Requirements

• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis.
• Experience in inventory and cost flow management.
• Strong knowledge of BOM and production cost structure.
• Financial planning and analysis capabilities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or advanced certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with weighted average costing (WAC).
• Exposure to legacy ERP systems such as AS400.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep cost analysis and inventory oversight.
• Interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable operational insights.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
• Manage inventory and cost flow, including reconciliation and cost analysis.
• Contribute to production costing and bill of materials (BOM) management.
