About The Position

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Manager to safeguard its intellectual, financial, and physical assets. This role is responsible for providing a safe and secure work and travel environment, minimizing security risks and threats to employees, assets, and reputation. Reporting to the Vice President of EHS, Sustainability & Security, the Senior Corporate Security Manager will develop, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide security programs. The position serves as the company’s subject matter expert in physical security, investigations, threat assessment, travel security, crisis response, and global security risk management. This role is based at Howmet’s Corporate Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA, with a hybrid working schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate security, investigations, risk management, law enforcement, military, or intelligence organizations.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide security programs across multiple facilities or regions.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security technologies and security operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, defense, or multinational organizations.
  • Experience with crisis management, site protection, and travel security programs.
  • CPP, PSP, PCI, or other ASIS certifications.
  • Multilingual capabilities (Spanish, French, or German).
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise security transformations and large-scale security technology implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a global corporate security strategy to protect employees, visitors, vendors, and physical assets.
  • Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and site audits.
  • Guide facility leadership on mitigation plans and security improvements.
  • Lead or support investigations involving theft, workplace violence, misconduct, and security incidents.
  • Support crisis management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Oversee physical security technologies including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and visitor management systems.
  • Manage travel security and threat assessment programs.
  • Manage security vendors, service providers, contracts, and budgets.
  • Deliver security awareness and training programs.
  • Brief executive leadership on security risks, incidents, and program performance.
