About The Position
The Senior Corporate Counsel – Employment is responsible for providing day-to-day legal support to the Company’s Human Resources team for employment matters on a variety of employment issues. This position is also responsible for managing outside counsel on employment litigation, and handling EEOC, agency charges and internal investigations. Also responsible for updating employee-related agreements, handling restrictive covenant matters, reviewing, and drafting policies and procedures as necessary to support the human resources team, and developing and conducting training on legal developments.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in at least one state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, either in-house or at a law firm.
- Experience with employment litigation, EEOC and agency charges, and internal investigations.
- Familiarity with employee-related agreements, restrictive covenants, and HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to develop and conduct legal training.
