About The Position

We are seeking a highly technical, energized Senior Accountant to support the full-cycle accounting for our multi-branded, private equity-backed platform. As we double in size annually, the "Office of the CFO" requires a leader who possesses uncompromising integrity, professional maturity, and a high degree of candor. The successful candidate will be a hands-on professional who ensures deadlines for the month-end financial close are met timely and accurately. Beyond technical proficiency, we look for "culture carriers"—individuals who maintain a championship-team mentality, stay "mentally present" in every interaction, and proactively protect the integrity of our financial data and team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 3–4 years of full-cycle accounting or public accounting experience.
  • Integrity & Reliability: A proven track record of professional candor and reliability. Understands that in accounting, integrity is binary; possesses the maturity to provide honest status updates at all times.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Great Plains).
  • Adaptability: Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where "playing as a championship team" means supporting others during peak periods.
  • Presence: Ability to maintain a consistent in-office presence (4 days/week) and provide "all-hands" support during business-critical deadlines. Full-time 40 hour workweek with over-time as considered necessary.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Availability: Ability to work overtime or weekends as necessary to complete business-critical assignments, particularly during month-end close and audit cycles.
  • Collaborative Commitment: A commitment to the mission-focused approach of Unleashed Brands, defaulting to trust through consistent performance and transparent communication.

  • Takes initiative as a self-starter to meet multiple deadlines in stressful situations; makes time for unplanned assignments and adapts quickly to changing priorities under the PE-sponsor model.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, serving as a model for Unleashed’s Core Values and maintaining strict confidentiality.
