Senior Corporate Accountant, Crypto
About The Position
Robinhood is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support accounting operations for its expanding crypto and digital asset products. The role involves preparing reconciliations, analyzing financial activity, and contributing to month-end close. This position offers the opportunity to work on new product initiatives and develop scalable accounting processes for a growing business area. The team maintains accurate reporting, strengthens internal processes, and enables the launch of new financial products, working closely with Finance, Engineering, Product, and Compliance partners. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas for improving reporting workflows, reconciliation processes, and financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, including experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both
- Understanding of GAAP accounting standards and financial close processes
- Experience using spreadsheets and SQL to analyze financial data and support reconciliation activities

- Experience with blockchain, digital assets, or crypto products is preferred
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reconciliation processes for crypto-related products using data from internal ledgers and financial systems
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and support the month-end close process with accurate financial reporting
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and document variance explanations for internal reporting
- Support external audit requests by gathering documentation and preparing requested schedules
- Work with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and process automation
