About The Position

The Accounting team supports Robinhood’s financial operations by maintaining accurate reporting, strengthening internal processes, and enabling the launch of new financial products. The team collaborates closely with Finance, Engineering, Product, and Compliance partners to improve operational accuracy and support scalable accounting practices. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas that improve reporting workflows, reconciliation processes, and financial controls. As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will support accounting operations related to Robinhood’s expanding crypto and digital asset products. You’ll prepare reconciliations, analyze financial activity, and contribute to month-end close activities while partnering with internal teams to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work on new product initiatives and help develop scalable accounting processes for a growing business area. This role is based in our Chicago, IL, New York, NY, and Menlo Park, CA offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, including experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting standards and financial close processes
  • Experience using spreadsheets and SQL to analyze financial data and support reconciliation activities

  • Experience with blockchain, digital assets, or crypto products is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reconciliation processes for crypto-related products using data from internal ledgers and financial systems
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and support the month-end close process with accurate financial reporting
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and document variance explanations for internal reporting
  • Support external audit requests by gathering documentation and preparing requested schedules
  • Work with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and process automation
