About The Position

This role is for a Senior Copywriter to join a high-performing creative team in Toronto on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a likelihood of extension. The position is ideal for a collaborative individual who excels in fast-paced settings, can manage a high volume of work with competing deadlines, and possesses both efficiency and attention to detail. The focus will be on B2B communications, particularly for platform-based tools that assist businesses in establishing, optimizing, and expanding their digital presence. Prior experience in writing for tech or service-oriented B2B products, especially with a strategic or instructional focus, is highly beneficial.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a copywriter, preferably within a creative agency or in-house brand team.
  • Strong B2B experience, especially within tech, platform, or business services.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently and accurately.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (communications, marketing, creative writing, etc.) is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience guiding or mentoring junior writers is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design-copy tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet creative needs for a platform-focused B2B marketing effort.
  • Write clear, compelling, brand-aligned copy across a range of digital formats and campaign assets.
  • Focus on B2B topics such as ad setup, optimization, and business platform education.
  • Act as the senior copy lead on the account, providing mentorship and support to mid-level writers.
  • Contribute to messaging frameworks, UX writing, content hierarchies, and brand storytelling.
  • Work closely with designers and participate in copy/design collaboration.
  • Bring a strong editorial point of view to creative brainstorms, reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Adapt tone and structure based on audience and channel requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders and client teams.
