We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter/Editor to join Canadian Tire’s In-House Content & Creative team. This role is for someone who loves shaping brand voice, elevating brands through copy, and making purpose-driven work land with precision. The ideal candidate brings editorial rigor, a sharp instinct for brand storytelling, and a clear point of view on great retail and e-commerce copy. Reporting to the Manager, Creative Copy & Content, this role will help define, refine, and champion our tone of voice across brand campaigns and e-commerce experiences. You’ll partner closely with writers, designers, marketers, and channel teams to ensure every word is clear, consistent, compelling, and unmistakably on brand. You will communicate with confidence, turning editorial decisions into crisp, constructive direction that moves the work forward. This role blends hands-on writing with editorial leadership and governance, perfect for someone who obsesses over details, understands how brand systems scale, and can guide work from brief to final execution without sacrificing speed. The role also embraces AI-enabled tools as part of a modern, efficient editorial workflow, assisting with AI integration for copy assets and creating agents and prompts for quick, templated copy ads.
