About The Position

Coordinates administrative and/or operational functions of an organizational unit under the supervision of a manager or director. May supervise and/or provide guidance to employees or be responsible for the management of programs, initiatives or events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years appropriate experience.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an impartial and unbiased fact-finder to conduct and manage investigations into allegations of misconduct.
  • Conduct interviews, gather and review evidence collected during investigations, analyze information to determine appropriate student outcomes.
  • Respond to victims of trauma in a sensitive and informed manner, managing multiple cases, meeting various deadlines, maintaining neutrality and working under stress, and observing impartiality and confidentiality throughout the investigation process.
  • Provides educational outreach programs to the University campus and surrounding community regarding conflict resolution, the Student Code and conduct process, and other services that the Office provides and serves as a resource to faculty, staff, and students who seek to resolve conflicts formally or informally.
  • Advises and consults with faculty, staff, students, legal counsel, counseling, police, and other departments across campus as appropriate on how to prevent and respond to misconduct matters involving students.
  • Represents the Department and/or Supervisor by serving on various university committees.
  • Other duties as assigned.
