Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant roles related to the development of wind, solar, or infrastructure projects.
  • University degree in environmental studies, urban planning, engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and outreach skills
  • Diligence, attention to detail, and self-reliance
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional travel
  • Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside of Quebec on a recurring basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS, Global Mapper) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and analysis of development opportunities aligned with the business strategy
  • Coordinate activities related to ongoing projects and monitor timelines
  • Manage the processes for obtaining necessary permits and authorizations
  • Support the team in securing land and acquiring projects
  • Analyze approaches aimed at improving project competitiveness
  • Organize and monitor budgets as well as project documentation
  • Prepare the documents required for project reviews
  • Coordinate the preparation of bids and responses to requests for proposals
  • Ensure rigorous document management for all files
