Senior Coordinator, Accounts Receivable - 3PL
About The Position
3PL Accounts Receivable is responsible for reporting accurate and timely accounting information to the pharmaceutical manufacturers serviced by Cardinal Health. This involves posting cash payments received to open invoices, creating deductions taken on checks in the accounting system, and entering necessary journal entries. As a Senior Coordinator, Accounts Receivable (AR Specialist), you will manage collections for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (Clients). The position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to present reconciliations to Clients over the phone or face to face.
Requirements
- Must live within 1 hour radius of LaVergne, TN.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to communicate effectively through email, on phone and in person
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, systems, controls, and work streams
- Experience working in a transactional finance environment coupled with strong internal controls
- Understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support
- Ability to work collaboratively to respond to non-standard requests
- In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area
- Ability to apply advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous accounts receivable experience
Responsibilities
- Present what you are reconciling to groups of people within the company and industry over the phone or face to face
- Managing the payment posting and collections for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (Clients) we service
- Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments
- Works independently within established procedures but will receive general guidance on new assignments
- May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
