About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Controls Technician for our HVAC & Controls Company in Dallas, TX. This role involves working closely with controls installations, start-up, and termination of equipment and programs. You will troubleshoot and manipulate current installed BAS programs, communicate efficiently with building owners, end users, and general contractors, and work effectively in a team environment. Our company, founded over 15 years ago, serves a diverse clientele including Hospitals, School Districts, Churches, and Commercial/Industrial sectors, specializing in HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Building Automation services, including retrofits, installs, and upgrades.

Requirements

Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
Knowledge of controls programming and experience rewriting sequences
Fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems
Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts
Knowledge of HVAC VRF system service and service installations
Well versed in installations, troubleshooting, repairing HVAC control systems and equipment
Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot controls BAS systems
