You will have the opportunity work with the acknowledged leader in the field of liquid food packaging and consumer goods, Krones, Inc., via their subsidiary provider for these services, Process and Data Automation. We are looking for a motivated professional to work in these market segments which would include any manufacturers who embrace software in a manufacturing setting. About Process and Data Automation: Process and Data Automation is a full service, CSIA Certified industrial control systems integration firm. Our Controls Engineering group specializes in physical automation system design, programming, and commissioning. Our dedicated Data Services Group connects automated equipment and systems to the business environment including protected recipe systems, data collection and reporting, and data historian implementation. Requirements

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer Level 2 or equivalent experience.
  • Travel required.

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge in the following processes: Packaging Line Control, Packaging Equipment, Water/Waste Water processes, Batching, CIP.
  • Holds certification(s) or expert status to show knowledge in their field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering, design, integration, programming, and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), control instrumentation/components, and Industrial Networks for systems to support productivity and/or quality improvements for our clients.
  • Determine operational feasibility based on the analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Prepare, review and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Participate in process improvement teams.
  • Train Level 1&2 Controls Engineers.
  • Advise PMs on best project execution plans.
  • Act as the main project lead on technical initiatives.
