Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in contract administration or a related role, preferably in aerospace or a technology startup environment
  • Working knowledge of contract law principles, including contract interpretation and implementation
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support negotiation efforts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting contracts with the U.S. government
  • Experience working in the space industry or with NASA or DoD contracts, including familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)
  • Experience in aerospace, space, or other regulated industries
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPCM) or progress toward certification
  • Exposure to intellectual property considerations or licensing agreements
  • Experience supporting international or cross-border contracts

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and maintain contractual documentation
  • Assist with contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and government entities
  • Review contract terms and conditions to identify risks and escalate issues
  • Support coordination of contract implementation between the Company and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations
  • Maintain contract records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support contract administration activities across internal departments
  • Assist with government compliance requirements, including documentation and reporting
