About The Position

The Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for the execution of SOWs within our Global Services division. This individual will take into consideration the complexity of the scope presented while balancing the contractual terms and financial impact to deliver a sound business solution. The Senior SOW Manager will be considered a valued partner to Regional Sales Directors and VPs, Practice and Delivery, and InfoSec. They will collaborate with these decision makers on contractual risks, liabilities, and obligations; devise, recommend and implement creative and innovative solutions; and shall influence in making go/no-go decisions and other business-related matters. This individual will be responsible for holding other stakeholders accountable to timely and accurate SOW execution. This individual will also support leadership in defining comprehensive SOW policies and best practices. Individuals in this role shall negotiate in a manner that needs minimal assistance from upper management and shall have the ability to develop successful creative solutions throughout the negotiation process that mitigates company risk.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to Business, Finance or Law.
6+ years of work experience preferred.
Strong leadership experience.
Prior contract review or lifecycle management experience.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.
Excellent verbal/ written communication skills.
Ability to manage time, multi-task and excel in a deadline-oriented environment and consistently display high character and a strong work ethic.
Ability to evaluate and develop efficient and effective operational policies.
Ability to coach, train and develop, including the ability to assess performance and identify areas of improvement.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Proven management, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem solving, conflict management, decision making skills.

Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for the redlining, negotiating and the execution of Category 2 SOWs as determined by leadership
Manages workflow and processes for SOW lifecycle including Intake, Review, Red-line, Negotiation, Escalation, and Execution
Collaborates with Senior Sales Leaders and legal partners to ensure adherence to established risk profiles to mitigate risk for TEKsystems Global Services
Proactively identifies process gaps and needs, creates efficiencies, and drives change for effective and efficient statement of work lifecycle execution.
Ability to be customer facing during statement of work negotiations to both understand their business needs while still mitigating legal and financial risk for TEKsystems Global Services
Works with upper leadership to identify opportunities to improve the intake process of SOWs and helps to further define the category matrix of SOWs so they are supported accordingly
In time oversees Category 1 SOW Senior Manager of Operations and acts as an escalation point
