About The Position

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Senior Contracts Administrator at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Contract Management. As a Senior Contracts Administrator, this position will provide support within the Contracts & Acquisition Management Office supporting the Federal Civilian Sector as a subject matter expertise related to the contract life cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Contract Negotiation, Contract Administration and Closeout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years’ experience within Contracts Administration required.
  • 5+ years’ experience within Contracts Administration
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, and regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and CAS.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts negotiation and administration of government contracts
  • Participates in preparation of proposals including pricing and scheduling details and coordination of requirements
  • Provides advice on contract terms and conditions and applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Agency specific regulations
  • Interacts with program managers, finance staff, subcontract professionals and others in a highly collaborative environment to ensure compliance and mission success
  • Collaborates with other Contracts team members as needed for guidance and camaraderie
  • Administers contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery
  • Reviews solicitation requests
  • Coordinates contract requirement fulfillment with programs
  • Provides contractual support in proposal development and submission
  • Serves as a liaison with Government and commercial Prime Contractors regarding contracting issues
  • Participates in program reviews, status briefings and customer interaction whenever the contracting officer is involved
  • Maintains updates and communicates bid and proposal information
  • Initiates and maintains a network of communication with Contracting Specialists/Officers
  • Participates in special projects, as required
