About The Position

Senior-level, cradle-to-grave acquisition support to federal agency. Advises COs, CORs, and program officials on strategy and method; processes simplified through large-dollar actions; and administers awards through closeout. Expected to operate at FAC-C Level III / FAC-P equivalent with little government direction.

Requirements

• BA/BS or higher and/or at least 8 years relevant contracting experience.
• Hands-on federal acquisition experience equivalent to FAC-C Level III and/or FAC-P.
• Thorough knowledge of FFP, FP-EPA, LH, and/or T&M; cost-type is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with IDIQs, BPAs, and task/delivery/call/purchase orders.
• Excellent oral and written communication; active team member who assesses requirements and recommends solutions.
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Chat, Gmail, Docs, Slides, Drive, Meet), and internet research.

• Cost-type contracts knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with program officials, COR, and CO on acquisition planning through execution and closeout.
• Process service and commercial acquisitions: simplified acquisitions; small- and large-dollar contracts; FFP, FP with economic adjustment, LH, T&M, and cost-type (plus); POs; IAAs; IDIQs; BPAs; task, delivery, and call orders.
• Apply FAR Parts 5, 12–15, 16, 37, 43 and GSAR 538.71 (FSS).
• Provide senior SME advice; recommend strategies and methods, including unsolicited recommendations.
• Proofread and edit contractual products daily for clarity and accuracy.
• Analyze pre- and post-award data; identify gaps; notify the government promptly.
• Prepare and enter actions in FTA’s contract writing system (currently ESC PRISM or successor).
• Perform data verification, QA, and input to federal reporting.
• Maintain written status in the staff’s shared online spreadsheet.
• Support call/task/contract administration (performance and invoice tracking as applicable) and draft modifications.
