ECM is an organization under JJHCS which serves as the Center of Excellence that delivers outstanding solutions for Commercial Healthcare, Government & Regulatory, Systems, Processes and Training, and Risk Mitigation & Governance. The CP&CO team is responsible drafting, negotiating, and supporting agreements with Distributors, Consolidated Service Centers (CSCs), Certified Kit Assemblers (CKAs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and various other commercial agreements for MedTech. In addition, the team supports all contract load and maintenance activities for the MedTech and Innovative Medicine sectors in partnership with Strategic Customer Groups (SCGs) and Supply Chain Customer Solutions. The Senior Analyst will provide offer development support to the Sr. Manager and perform all contract functions as it relates to amendments, notices, account analysis, contract tracking, developing system templates, system maintenance, and providing load direction. They will also provide support to operating company channel management, account management, and field personnel, as needed.

Requirements

  • University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of related work experience.
  • Experience with contract management and operation functions.
  • Experience with data analytics, contract analytics, and communicating results to leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focused with the ability to establish mutually beneficial objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of contracting systems (e.g. ICS, MDM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of the healthcare contracting process, specifically related to distribution.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo while offering solutions.
  • Ability to communicate business opportunities and/or challenges clearly to expedite the resolution of any issues.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to address urgent issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support the offer development process through contract execution; draft amendments and notices for existing agreements.
  • Partner across all ECM contracting functions to ensure agreements can be administered in systems efficiently and effectively post execution.
  • Develop partnerships with Johnson & Johnson Operating Company partners, Distributors, and CSCs to resolve contract operations issues efficiently and compliantly.
  • Lead contract operation issues and know when to engage senior management to provide support.
  • Participate in system assessments and the design, development, and implementation Contract Operations process improvements.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to drive and implement process improvements that will positively impact internal efficiencies or improve the customer experience.
  • Provide direction and educate team members on system capabilities and processes to ensure the team’s successful implementation of contracts.
  • Ensure all contract trackers are accurately updated and maintained for metrics.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions, as needed.
  • Adhere to the document retention process and ensure contract documents are uploaded to the records management system (HPE), as required.
  • Lead/Support ad hoc projects, as needed.
