About The Position

The Culture & Strategy Division at Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking an influential and passionate leader to join the team as a Senior Continuous Improvement Facilitator. This role is part of the DEN Chief of Staff portfolio and is responsible for leading DEN’s efforts in Strategy & Innovation; Airport Access & Business Opportunity; and Strategic Outreach & Engagement. The Senior Continuous Improvement Facilitator will lead division-level problem-solving workshops to support DEN’s long-term strategic plans, Vision 100 and Operation 2045. Reporting to the Manager of Continuous Improvement within the Strategy and Innovation team, this role will strengthen operational performance by facilitating high-impact improvement efforts, developing and delivering training, and providing limited coaching to help employees apply continuous improvement practices in their day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three (3) years of professional level experience consulting with management providing expertise in process improvement techniques to achieve department/agency objectives and which includes applying organization and business knowledge to market and communicate the benefits of Continuous Improvement and operates with substantial latitude for independent action or decision.
  • Demonstrated experience as a skilled facilitator, including teaching, coaching, and/or leading complex group sessions, with a proven record of strong outcomes.
  • Adaptability to a wide range of operational environments across DEN’s diverse and fast-paced landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to employees in many different professions and levels.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain focus, and create an environment where all participants feel comfortable contributing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate problem-solving workshops for teams and divisions, helping them apply structured continuous improvement methods to address operational challenges in alignment with Strategic Vision 100 and Operation 2045 priorities.
  • Serve as a change leader, helping employees and leaders adapt to evolving operational demands and organizational priorities. Support the people side of change through coaching, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement, enabling teams to navigate challenges, embrace continuous improvement, and sustain results while maintaining exceptional service and operational performance.
  • Develop and deliver training and education on Continuous Improvement methodologies, including leading the yellow and green belt certification program, which teaches employees to solve problems using the Plan–Do–Check–Act methodology.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with employees, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to advance a culture of continuous improvement and foster engagement in improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Develop communications, outreach, and promotional materials that increase awareness, generate interest, and encourage participation in Continuous Improvement programs across DEN.
  • Seek and apply continuous improvement methods that meet organizational needs, supporting a culture of continuous improvement across DEN. Provide follow-up after events to monitor planned improvements, and use appropriate measurement and analysis to document progress and results through accurate data indicators.
  • Incorporate equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility principles into continuous improvement efforts to ensure outcomes are inclusive and reflect the value of all stakeholders and perspectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including special projects.
