About The Position

Insurify is seeking a Senior Content Writer to join their team. This role involves writing compelling, well-researched copy for various content applications, including SEO articles, educational content, and product landing pages. The writer will establish themselves as the company's go-to resource for content needs across new verticals such as personal finance and insurance. The position requires producing a high volume of content monthly to support editorial, product, marketing, and partnership teams in expanding into emerging verticals. The role also involves participating in the ideation, creation, and implementation of multi-channel content initiatives, ensuring all content reflects the brand's identity as an authoritative and empathetic source of information, and collaborating with the design team for cohesive project execution.

Requirements

• A seasoned writer with a commanding portfolio of work, preferably in a personal finance-related field.
• A storyteller at heart, adept at communicating messaging through an array of content types.
• A creative, original thinker capable of bringing your own ideas and innovations to the table while expertly executing on requested deliverables.
• A content daredevil who embraces the opportunity to research, learn and implement new writing styles and strategies.
• An avid consumer of written content, whether it’s social media, email newsletters, or old-fashioned print publications.
• At least 3 years of experience creating effective content that achieves project goals.
• Ability to thrive when working on multiple projects, writing with multiple content voices, and managing multiple deadlines.
• At least an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, English or other relevant coursework.
• Experienced working with remote teams, and building relationships with peers, managers, and outside service providers both in-office and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling, well-researched, copy for a variety of content applications, including SEO articles, educational content, product landing pages, and more.
• Establish yourself as the company’s go-to writer for content needs across a wide range of new verticals, including personal finance, insurance, and insurance-adjacent topics.
• Produce a high volume of content each month to help editorial, product, marketing and partnership teams support expansion in emerging verticals.
• Share in the ideation, creation, and implementation of multi-channel content initiatives.
• Ensure all content communicates our brand’s identity as an authoritative and empathetic source of insurance and personal finance information.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure both content and design of every project cohesively communicate team objectives.
