About The Position

Insurify is a fast-growing FinTech startup that is changing how millions of people compare, buy, and manage insurance using artificial intelligence, technology, and superior product design. We are seeking a Senior Content Writer to establish themselves as the company's go-to writer for content needs across a wide range of new verticals, including personal finance, insurance, and insurance-adjacent topics. This role involves producing a high volume of content monthly to support editorial, product, marketing, and partnership teams in their expansion efforts. The writer will also share in the ideation, creation, and implementation of multi-channel content initiatives, ensuring all content communicates the brand's identity as an authoritative and empathetic source of information, and collaborating with the design team for cohesive project execution.

Requirements

• A seasoned writer with a commanding portfolio of work, preferably in a personal finance-related field.
• A storyteller at heart, adept at communicating messaging through an array of content types.
• A creative, original thinker capable of bringing your own ideas and innovations to the table while expertly executing on requested deliverables.
• A content daredevil who embraces the opportunity to research, learn and implement new writing styles and strategies.
• An avid consumer of written content, whether it’s social media, email newsletters, or old-fashioned print publications.
• At least 3 years of experience creating effective content that achieves project goals.
• Thrive when you have more than one project to work on, excel in writing with more than one content voice, and aren’t intimidated by multiple deadlines.
• At least an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, English or other relevant coursework.
• Experienced working with remote teams, and building relationships with peers, managers, and outside service providers both in-office and remotely.
• Located in one of these US states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IA, KS, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA

Responsibilities

• Write compelling, well-researched copy for a variety of content applications, including SEO articles, educational content, product landing pages, and more.
• Establish yourself as the company’s go-to writer for content needs across a wide range of new verticals, including personal finance, insurance, and insurance-adjacent topics.
• Produce a high volume of content each month to help editorial, product, marketing and partnership teams support expansion in emerging verticals.
• Share in the ideation, creation, and implementation of multi-channel content initiatives.
• Ensure all content communicates our brand’s identity as an authoritative and empathetic source of insurance and personal finance information.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure both content and design of every project cohesively communicate team objectives.
