About The Position

Sketchy is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead content strategy and execution across organic search, AEO, social media, and editorial channels for both Sketchy (B2C) and DDx (B2B) brands. This is a senior individual contributor role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on content creation. The successful candidate will plan content, optimize for search and discovery (including AI engines), manage the content calendar, oversee social media presence, and produce content to build audience and engagement. The role demands fluency in communicating with both B2C (medical, PA, NP, and MCAT students) and B2B (program directors, faculty, and curriculum coordinators) audiences. The position is remote for employees in select US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years in content marketing, editorial, or social media roles, with significant experience in both written content and social media.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing blog/long-form content, social media across multiple platforms, and SEO-optimized content with a proven track record of audience growth and organic reach.
  • Hands-on SEO/AEO experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a content calendar end-to-end and handle multiple content types and channels concurrently.
  • Social media fluency across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and Meta, including strategy development and copy production.
  • Data fluency: comfortable using GA4, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and social analytics tools to derive insights and inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency with a CMS; Webflow experience is strongly preferred.

  • Background in edtech, healthcare, or student-focused products.
  • Familiarity with healthcare education (medical school, NP programs, PA programs).
  • Experience in a growth-stage startup environment (Seed to Series B).

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated content strategy for both brands, aligning organic search/AEO, blog, and social media into a cohesive plan with a consistent brand voice.
  • Maintain the content calendar, prioritizing production based on audience needs, search opportunities, and company objectives.
  • Conduct keyword and content-gap analysis for both B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Execute SEO, AEO, and GEO optimization strategies, aiming to surface brands in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
  • Write and optimize blog posts, long-form content, meta titles, descriptions, and FAQ content for organic search and AI.
  • Publish content directly in Webflow and manage workflows within the established CMS.
  • Oversee organic social media strategy and execution across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and Meta, developing channel-specific plans to grow and engage both student and educator audiences.
  • Write social copy and captions, or brief and manage content creators, ensuring brand voice consistency across all channels.
  • Track performance across owned channels using GA4, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and social analytics tools, and adapt strategies based on data insights.
