About The Position

Wealthfront is seeking a Senior Content Designer to join the money movement team within their Cash product. This role focuses on improving money movement experiences and connecting Cash with the broader Wealthfront ecosystem to create a seamless financial home. The designer will be responsible for crafting clear, delightful experiences for clients, simplifying complexity, and contributing to the expansion of how clients build long-term wealth. The design team at Wealthfront transforms complex financial technology into simple and delightful experiences, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail in both interactive elements and client communication. Designers are active participants in leadership forums and collaborate closely with engineering, product management, research, data science, legal, and compliance teams, acting as equal partners in strategic decisions and roadmap definition. The team fosters a culture of continuous learning, prioritizing the magnitude of successes over the frequency of success, and operates with a high bar and low ego. This is a remote-friendly role open to candidates in the US.

Requirements

• 5+ years of content design experience in a consumer software company.
• A portfolio demonstrating how clear communication can make or break a product experience, including examples of product screens, notifications, microcopy, emails, FAQs, style guides, and patterns.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across teams, navigate ambiguity, and quickly tailor effective content approaches within constraints.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across disciplines and with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., product managers, product designers, and engineers).
• Understanding of UX design principles and best practices for mobile and web.
• An eye for the details and an interest in the finer points of wordsmithery.
• Deep curiosity and interest in fintech.
