About The Position

Abbott's consumer wearable division, Lingo, aims to bring continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology to everyday consumers. This technology combines biosensor data, real-time analytics, and personalized insights to help individuals lead healthier lives. The Lingo team operates with a start-up culture and mindset, supported by Abbott's extensive history in healthcare innovation. The company is seeking a curious, entrepreneurial, and data-driven Senior Product Manager to enhance the insights and behavior change aspects of the product. The role involves transforming raw glucose data into actionable insights and fostering sustained engagement through reward systems that encourage progress and lasting habits, ultimately making Lingo a daily companion. The Senior Product Manager will lead the roadmap for insights and behavior change, collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Sales, and Product Marketing teams. This is a high-impact, visible position reporting to the Director of Product, responsible for the entire product lifecycle and making a significant contribution to people's health. The position is based onsite in Alameda, CA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience at a consumer tech company or organization
  • Proven track record of taking products from concept to successful market adoption.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate customer problems and product solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities to improve the product and user experience.
  • Skilled at using insights and resources to achieve a high level of conviction before development begins.
  • A creative, out-of-the-box product thinker who is passionate about improving access to and outcomes in mental health.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work cross-functionally and tap into the expertise of stakeholders to find optimal solutions.
  • High customer empathy with a strong focus on execution and being able to put ideas into action.
  • You expertly blend quantitative and qualitative inputs, as warranted by each individual situation.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and excels at transforming ambiguity into clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of our users. Conduct high-impact user research and leverage user feedback in all its forms to accurately capture and represent user needs and the way they interact with our product.
  • Use those insights to inform product decisions, build stronger confidence in our direction and ensure we meet user needs while driving meaningful business outcomes.
  • Craft a clear roadmap of highly prioritized features and initiatives that deliver against the product vision & strategy and drive business impact.
  • Lead the discovery, ideation, scoping, execution, and launch of user centric features to address user problems and business opportunities.
  • Define key performance metrics for your features and closely analyze product performance to measure success, identify gaps and areas of improvement.
  • Lead and collaborate with design, engineering and other cross functional peers and leadership to provide input and visibility into the product development process and define and ship a consistent, high-quality experience across the “whole product”.
