Senior Consulting Manager
About The Position
Cushman & Wakefield’s Strategic Consulting practice is an industry leader in aligning organizations’ business strategies with their people, real estate, facilities, and workplaces to achieve business objectives and gain competitive advantage. Our innovative strategies help clients make value-based decisions, effect meaningful change and achieve quantifiable results. This practice focuses on Global Occupier Services, the global client account side of the organization, where we solve some of the most complex real estate challenges for the world’s largest blue-chip client occupiers. We currently have a Senior Manager open in the practice to support the Americas region. This role directly supports client transformation initiatives by aligning workplace strategy with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar or complementary role, including key project experience in workplace/real estate strategy decision-making.
- Experience with leading high performing teams, partnering with sophisticated client teams, and navigating relationships with externals partners.
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional leadership, problem solving, risk mitigation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written, oral, analytical, and graphic presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Situational awareness and ability to identify client concerns and risks and raise them to leadership.
- Ability to work independently, a self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and projects.
- Proficient in MSFT Applications, Teams, Adobe PDF Writer, Outlook.
Nice To Haves
- Adobe Illustrator and InDesign a plus.
- Comfortable working across time zones, business lines, and offices.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to client sites.
- Ability to work on-site as required; additional on-site time and travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Supports the full consulting lifecycle—from business development to strategy formulation and execution.
- Manages projects and key client relationships.
- Works with other senior leaders with subject matter expertise in workplace strategy and change management in the Strategic Consulting practice.
- Contributes to thought leadership and client deliverables.
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with our most important clients and prospects.
- Generate new business opportunities in partnership with other C&W leaders.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-impact solutions with a sales objective of $600,000/year.
- Analyze and compile data and produce strategy documents and error-free client reports.
- Serve as a reviewer of work done by others.
- Collaborate in a team environment, be professional even during adversity, and evoke positive engagement with colleagues, clients, partners, and prospects.
- Evaluate and experiment with new tools and technologies (e.g. SharePoint, Copilot, Power BI, Miro, AhaSlides!, Mentimeter).
