About The Position

This role involves supporting clients in financial reporting, sustainability reporting, and/or audit, risk, and controls. The Senior Consulting Analyst will understand client requirements and translate them into effective Workiva solutions. This includes assisting in the design and configuration of Workiva solutions to streamline reporting processes, such as data connectivity (Wdata, queries, automations). The position requires participation in the system development lifecycle, including requirements documentation, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment. Collaboration with team members and client stakeholders is crucial for successful project delivery, with proactive communication of progress and challenges. The analyst will manage individual workstreams or tasks within larger projects, balancing technical implementation with effective team coordination.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in either: A reporting or controls focused role (financial, regulatory, sustainability or audit/risk and controls), or a professional services role delivering Workiva solutions to clients.
  • Familiarity with at least one domain such as SEC/SEDAR, statutory reporting, sustainability frameworks, SOX/ICFR, or audit/risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience in system implementations or process improvements, with the ability to bridge reporting requirements and technical solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, compliance, and technology teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workiva or similar cloud reporting platforms.
  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional designations (or progress toward one), including Workiva certifications.
  • Project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communications
  • Exposure to data modeling, automation, or integration tools.
