About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking an Associate Consulting Manager, Financial Reporting with Workiva expertise. This role involves owning the successful delivery of Workiva implementation and optimization engagements, leading end-to-end execution across complex projects. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, user acceptance, training, and deployment. The position requires managing multiple client engagements and competing priorities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Proactive management of engagement economics, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations is crucial. Building trusted relationships with client executives and serving as a strategic advisor are key. The role also involves leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing project teams, fostering a collaborative and accountable environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance consulting leading or supporting Workiva implementations, or equivalent experience in corporate financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting processes and Workiva capabilities across one or more of the following: SEC/SEDAR reporting, management reporting, operational reporting, GSR reporting, or private company reporting.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, optimizing, or administering Workiva solutions, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex business and technical concepts into clear, executive-ready recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading Workiva implementation projects across the system development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Project management experience, including work planning, milestone tracking, budget and scope management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communications, and change management.
  • Experience leading teams by mentoring, coaching, and developing junior consultants while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CPA, CMA, PMP, or Workiva certifications.
  • Experience with adjacent financial systems and technologies (e.g., ERP platforms, disclosure management, consolidation, or EPM solutions).
