We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will work closely with CFOs and finance departments to automate and streamline processes, enhance controls and compliance, and ultimately increase the strategic value delivered by Finance. Supported by EY’s investments in technology, learning, and knowledge resources, you will contribute to delivering tailored, high-impact solutions to our clients and their stakeholders. You will also play a key role in the growth of our practice by delivering exceptional service and contributing to our ambition of excellence in finance transformation. This position corresponds to an existing vacancy within our organization.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in finance and project-based environments such as ERP implementations, target operating model design, or process improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and verbal and written communication skills
  • A solid understanding of key business processes (P2P, R2R, O2C, H2R, etc.) and Finance operational models
  • Basic knowledge or proficiency in ERP systems and EPM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and stakeholders in a fast-changing and uncertain environment
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles in various capacities (prepare and facilitate workshop, interview, walkthrough, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot and emerging AI tools
  • A strong interest to contribute to business development and strengthens the firm’s market presence
  • Willingness to learn and adopt a proactive mindset with enthusiasm for improving ways of working, fostering knowledge sharing and mutual support across service lines
  • Values, principles, and work ethic consistent with those outlined in the EY Global Code of Conduct
  • Ability to work in multicultural and bilingual environment (English and French)

Nice To Haves

  • Professional designation and/or qualification i.e. MBA, CPA, CA, CMA CGA or equivalent are an asset
  • Consulting experience and/or background in finance transformation is highly desired
  • Background in operational finance and/or accounting functions is an asset
  • Certification in ERP system or EPM tool configuration is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required by clients need

  • Leveraging your experience and technical and professional knowledge of finance and transformation to drive project success and improve client performance
  • Showing leadership, integrity and teamwork by coordinating junior staff efforts, providing on-the-job coaching and ensuring good communication within the team
  • Developing trusted relationships with clients and identify opportunities for EY within existing engagements
  • Contributing to proposals and commercial efforts
  • Enhancing EY’s visibility and reputation in the market
  • Leading internal initiatives to strengthen team cohesion, improve delivery efficiency and skills, and enhance market knowledge and visibility
  • Developing strong collaboration across EY service lines by building effective interpersonal relationships
