About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Dallas, Texas, within Package and Technology Enablement | Package Functional Transformation. The role drives SAP software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, finance, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs. It synthesizes operations strategy, analyzes business solutions, selects relevant SAP tools and techniques, and interprets and reports outputs, including business cases, pricing, and complex financial analysis.

The Senior Consultant drives the design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP business modules and technical objects, including modules and reports. The role assesses existing information systems, identifies gaps between business requirements and system capabilities, estimates development time and resources, translates detailed requirements into systems design documents, and supports the creation of interface specifications and call flows. The position requires 50% national travel; telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 2 years of experience using SAP BODS, BW, and Agile Methodology for software development and implementation of SAP GL, AP, and AR.
• 2 years of experience driving aspects of the SAP implementation software development lifecycle using HP ALM and MS Azure SharePoint.
• 2 years of experience building, configuring, and monitoring interfaces that integrate SAP GL, AP, AR, and PS with third-party systems.
• 2 years of experience creating technical and functional specifications using Agile Methodology.
• 2 years of experience developing Technical Design Documents from Functional Design Documents for RICEF objects using MS PowerPoint and Word.
• 2 years of experience defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients.
• 2 years of experience building software integration production and developing software modules using SAP SLT, cFIN, BODS, BW, and PI.
• 2 years of experience driving the design of SAP FICO, FI-GL, New GL Accounting, AP, AR, FI-AA, IM, and PS for integration, and working with offshore development teams to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive software development and implementation services using SAP products to address business needs.
• Synthesize operations strategy by analyzing business solutions and selecting SAP tools and techniques that meet specific requirements.
• Prepare and interpret business cases, pricing, and complex financial analyses, and report on outputs.
• Drive the design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP business modules and develop technical objects, including modules and reports.
• Assess existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and system capabilities, and estimate development time and resources.
• Transform detailed requirements into complete systems design documents and support creation of interface specifications and call flows.
• Drive SAP implementation work across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration design, process analysis, scripting, deployments, validation, defect and change-request triage, and escalation management.
• Build, configure, and monitor interfaces integrating SAP GL, AP, AR, and PS with third-party systems.
• Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudocode.
• Develop Technical Design Documents from Functional Design Documents for RICEF objects.
• Define systems strategy and support procedures; develop requirements; and design, prototype, test, train, and implement technology-enabled client solutions.
• Build software integration production and develop software modules using SAP SLT, cFIN, BODS, BW, and PI.
• Drive SAP finance and controlling design for integration and work with offshore development teams to develop solutions.
