About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in New York, New York, within Package and Technology Enablement | Package Functional Transformation. The role delivers SAP software advisory and implementation services, helping companies realize value from technology investments through discrete services or comprehensive solutions. The work supports digital responsiveness, scalability, performance improvement, innovation, modernization of core systems, and business reinvention using SAP digital solutions. The position contributes to SAP engagement objectives and scope, develops work plans for engagement components, coordinates activities across workstreams, and identifies scope changes. It assesses existing information systems, identifies gaps between business requirements and system capabilities, and provides application analysis aligned with SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. It also uses data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling to provide industry insight and analytical support for business decision-making. The role requires 50% national travel; telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
At least 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
At least 2 years of experience creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, utilizing SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
At least 2 years of experience working across project lifecycle phases (Design, Build, Test, and Go-Live) for enterprise-level solution design, development, testing, and implementation, utilizing SAP Materials Management (MM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
At least 2 years of experience analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support future-state designs, using SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
At least 2 years of experience tracking and reporting project and milestone deliverable status using ServiceNow and Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
At least 2 years of experience interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into project designs, using SAP MM, SCM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering user manuals and training using SAP MM, SCM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
At least 2 years of experience creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans, and configuration documents using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services.
Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for engagement components, coordinate workstream activities, and identify scope changes.
Assess existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities.
Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals.
Use data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce business analysis and algorithms.
Create technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models.
Work across Design, Build, Test, and Go-Live phases to design, develop, test, and implement enterprise-level solutions.
Analyze and document current-state systems, processes, and environments to support future-state designs.
Track and report project and milestone deliverable status and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Interface with client stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into project designs.
Design and deliver user manuals and training to support solution implementation, adoption, and maintenance.
Create design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans, and configuration documents for SAP project implementation.
