About The Position

KPMG in Canada is seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Full-Time Senior Consultant working in our Calgary practice starting in May 2027 / September 2027. Positions are available in the following service lines: People & Change, Supply Chain, Finance Transformation, and Technology Strategy & Transformation. The People & Change practice advances clients’ business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities and behaviours. The Supply Chain & Procurement Solutions practice provides strategic, operational, and technology advisory services to help organizations transform how they plan, procure, move, and manage goods and services. The Finance Transformation team partners with organizations to unlock efficiencies and deliver lasting business value, working hand-in-hand with CFOs and finance leaders to strengthen and modernize finance and accounting operations. The Technology Strategy and Transformation (TST) team advises clients on how new technology will impact their business and delivers innovative end-to-end digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Senior Consultants usually join Management Consulting with significant work experience, coming from an MBA, PhD, MD, JD or other advanced degree program.
  • Senior Consultant are expected to be able to come into the Management Consulting team and immediately make a significant impact.
  • Those coming from undergraduate degrees or master’s degrees with less than 2 years’ work experience should consider applying for the Consultant position.
  • Highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver.
  • Strong academic record from your undergraduate or master’s degree.
  • Must have or will obtain legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date of employment.
  • For Technology Strategy and Transformation, applicants should demonstrate a clear interest or have a background in technology.

  • Partner with organizations to unlock efficiencies and deliver lasting business value by strengthening and modernizing finance and accounting operations.
  • Advise clients on how new technology will impact their business and deliver innovative end-to-end digital transformation.
  • Support general project management and oversee the planning, scheduling and completion of objectives and engagements, asset development and other initiatives.
