About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Costa Mesa, California, for Package and Technology Enablement | Package Functional Transformation. The role drives SAP software advisory and implementation services, helping companies gain value from technology investments through discrete services or comprehensive solutions. It supports digital responsiveness, scalability, performance improvement, innovation, modernization of core systems, and business transformation with SAP digital solutions. The position contributes to SAP engagement objectives and scope, develops work plans for engagement components, coordinates activities across workstreams, and identifies scope changes. It assesses existing information systems and gaps between business requirements and system capabilities, provides application analysis to support SAP architecture and infrastructure goals, and uses analytical techniques and tools to produce business insights. The role requires 50% national travel; telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
At least 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data, using SAP Finance, Business Partner, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Materials Management (MM), and Master Data Governance (MDG) in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and Fieldglass.
At least 2 years of experience working across Traditional, Agile, and Hybrid project lifecycles—including design, build, test, and implementation—for enterprise-level clients using SAP Finance, Business Partner, EAM, MM, and MDG in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
At least 2 years of experience analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments for future-state designs using navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, Microsoft Visio, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Solution Architecture Designs, Detailed Design, and Lean Specifications.
At least 2 years of experience designing and developing data validation processes and conducting data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), MDG, and Classification and Clustering Analysis methodologies.
At least 2 years of experience interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze them, and translate them into project designs using SAP Finance, Business Partner, EAM, MM, and MDG in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions using SAP Finance, Business Partner, EAM, MM, and MDG in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
At least 2 years of experience driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment using SAP Finance, Business Partner, EAM, MM, and MDG in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
At least 2 years of experience tracking and reporting project and milestone deliverable status using Microsoft Project Plan, Power BI, and Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) logs.

Responsibilities

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help clients realize value from technology investments and modernize or transform their businesses.
Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for engagement components, coordinate workstream activities, and identify scope changes.
Assess existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities.
Provide application analysis to support SAP architecture and infrastructure goals.
Use data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, predictive modelling, and related analytical approaches to produce insights and algorithms that support business decisions.
Develop and implement large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data.
Work across Traditional, Agile, and Hybrid project lifecycle phases, including design, build, test, and implementation.
Analyze and document current-state systems, processes, and environments to support future-state project designs.
Design and develop data validation processes and perform data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps.
Gather functional and technical requirements from client stakeholders, analyze them, and translate them into project designs and solutions.
Design and deliver user manuals and training to support successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance of client solutions.
Drive requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment.
Track and report project and milestone deliverable status, support timely delivery, and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
