About The Position

As a senior member of the MFS Talent Development team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s talent acceleration strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to build talent through the design and delivery of scalable global learning tools and skill building programs that align with enterprise-wide priorities, including professional skill development and career growth, leadership advancement, succession planning, and performance management. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR professionals, and HR Business Partners, serving as a change agent, facilitator, coach, and consultant to guide managers and employees in adopting performance-driven strategies, tools, and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with adult learning, human resources management, talent consulting or related field.
  • Curiosity about future-focused learning trends, including AI-enabled design and delivery.
  • Demonstrated track record of aligning end-to-end solutions to business outcomes, realizing measurable impact (from needs analysis through evaluation).
  • Able to align to a larger strategy and work within the strategic direction.
  • Minimum of 6-8+ years of learning and development, organizational development and/or performance consulting in a corporate environment, working across functions and partnering with multiple stakeholders.
  • Consultative approach with the ability to assess client needs, develop and deploy appropriate development interventions flexibly to address client needs.
  • Partner effectively with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
  • Seasoned instructional designer and content curator.
  • Adept at developing curricula, performance support and blended solutions, willing to experiment with new tools, formats and approaches adapting to changing organizational needs.
  • Experienced consultant, adept at facilitating across multiple levels of audiences – including all aspects of knowledge sharing, knowledge transfer, experiential learning, and learning through group/team exercises.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Gives and receives feedback well; iterates based on input.
  • Self-directed professional with a strong track record of execution and project management.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize to deliver business impact.
  • Understanding of global workforce needs, cultural differences and regional challenges.
  • Some travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience with developing AI literacy and skills, and leveraging AI coaching or AI-augmented instructional design/content generation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design, implementation, and measurement of global professional development pathways, career frameworks, and future-focused skill development programs aligned with enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and functional leadership to support HR Business Partners in executing talent initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices in talent development.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to drive the transformation of enterprise-wide performance management processes, tools, and structures. Continuously monitor and evaluate effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to assess learning needs and performance gaps using a data-driven approach. Recommend and implement appropriate interventions, including training and organizational development solutions. Collaborate with business-embedded training teams and others providing technical training and skill development.
  • Develop effective communication to activate talent development across the firm, support business enablement and leverage feedback mechanisms to ensure highest quality and employee experience, alignment with evolving business needs, and inspire a lifelong learning mindset.
  • In partnership with HRBPs, coach leaders, teams and individual employees to drive strategic development outcomes and accelerate talent. Provide strategic direction to facilitate and support learning experiences across multiple audience levels leveraging modern learning techniques and technologies, including AI.
  • Research and select external resources/partners to address specific needs, ensuring best-in-class content and delivery models that allow for scaled impact. Build and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors, and partnering with internal subject matter experts.
