About The Position

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Consultant focused on Supply Chain to join their Mergers and Acquisitions practice within the Consumer & Industrial Products Value Creation Group. This role will support client engagements involving supply chain and technology assessments, cost-to-serve analysis, and the development of supply chain and operations strategies. The Senior Consultant will manage workstreams and deliverables, develop analyses and models, ensure quality, identify and mitigate risks, and support project financial tracking. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with team members and clients to provide actionable recommendations, supporting business development efforts through research and proposal development, and contributing to practice development by sharing knowledge, developing internal tools, and participating in recruiting and team-building initiatives. The position may also involve coaching junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 4–6 years of experience in supply chain advisory or related roles, including areas such as supply chain strategy, network & inventory optimization, IBP/S&OP, logistics, sourcing & procurement, production planning, MRP, and/or supply chain technology.
  • Experience managing workstreams or discrete project components within larger engagements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience developing client-ready deliverables and presentations.
  • Exposure to business development activities such as proposal support or research.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workstreams and deliverables within client engagements, ensuring work is completed on time and meets quality expectations.
  • Develop analyses, models, and insights to support supply chain strategy, operations improvement, and transaction-related engagements.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables through effective quality assurance (QA) and attention to detail.
  • Identify, communicate, and help mitigate risks, issues, and potential project challenges.
  • Support project financial tracking by identifying potential scope or budget variances and escalating appropriately.
  • Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to research, proposal development, and client deliverables.
  • Share insights and knowledge from client engagements to inform pursuit teams and solution development.
  • Participate in industry, functional, or technical events to build knowledge and contribute to market presence.
  • Help develop materials that support West Monroe’s brand and client engagements.
  • Share subject matter knowledge with team members and contribute to building team capabilities.
  • Support development of internal tools, templates, and methodologies.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts and team-building initiatives.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
  • May serve as a coach or informal mentor to junior team members.
