As a Senior Consultant, ServiceNow, you will play a vital role at Nuvitek. You will work closely with an equally enthusiastic team of developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize our customers' applications using low-code solutions and enhance the ServiceNow platform for our organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience with the ServiceNow eco-system performing project implementations that exploit the ServiceNow platform's full capabilities (discover, design, implement, and optimize) while delivering in an Agile framework.
  • Proven track record of developing and customizing ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.
  • Proficiency in designing asset classifications, defining lifecycle state workflows, and setting up stockroom or warehouse operational frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise in staging NSN/FLIS data, configuring audit trails, and implementing duplicate prevention strategies.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end Service Catalog workflows for acquiring, entitling, and managing hardware and software assets.
  • Adept at configuring reporting data pipelines to feed Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with security models, access controls, upgrade strategies, and compliance requirements.
  • A solid understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
  • Experience with creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  • Cybersecurity focused certification like Security+
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Fairly good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels with technical as well as business resources

Responsibilities

  • Help to envision, design, and implement new features utilizing the ServiceNow low-code platform for the projects based on the prioritized product backlog
  • Bring innovative, out-of-the-box thinking to solving challenging problems, brainstorming with peers, and utilizing available resources, including internal as well as external resources
  • Build service requests from the requirements, including requests, request items, and tasks using workflows - manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service
  • Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration, including experience leading teams in ServiceNow deployments.
  • Unit test all developed features, including edge cases. Also, be comfortable conducting peer reviews of other developer’s code as needed
  • Attend and actively participate in all Agile-related meetings. Work within the Agile framework, including participating in User Story grooming sessions, Sprint Planning meetings, and retrospectives
  • Delivery presentations as required to the client during Sprint demos and coordinating meetings with intersecting teams as required.
  • Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the company to socialize best practices and draft white papers as applicable.
  • Help with building proof of concept, and creating technical solutions for internal application as needed.
  • Configure asset classes, categories, and model structures with approved attributes for the initial Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) enclave.
  • Develop asset lifecycle and management workflows enabling asset creation, updates, and state transitions.
  • Establish NSN and FLIS data staging with deduplication controls and audit logging.
  • Set up stockroom records and implement the approved organizational stockroom hierarchy.
  • Establish baseline reporting and lay the groundwork for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) reporting framework during the initial rollout phase.
  • Implement end-to-end stockroom operational capabilities—including receiving, transfer, issuance, and return operations—with complete transaction tracking by asset and user.
  • Support Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) configurations to maintain alignment with the unified EAM data model.
  • Lead efforts across testing, user training, system cutover, and final operational handoff.
