Senior Consultant, NetSuite
About The Position
The Senior Consultant, NetSuite is responsible for leading full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects, translating complex business requirements into technical designs. This role involves client interaction, solution delivery across all project phases (discovery, design, build, testing, training, deployment), fit/gap analysis, and developing technical design documents. The consultant will act as a trusted client advocate, provide implementation best practices, and contribute to internal initiatives like resource mentorship and NetSuite education. The role may require travel and flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
- Hands-on Functional NetSuite ERP Implementation Experience with 5-8+ end-to-end enterprise or medium-sized NetSuite engagements, OR has led 8+ small engagements through go-live.
- Undergraduate degree or MBA in field of Business, Finance, Accounting, Software or relevant field.
- Strong background in finance/accounting, consulting and advisory services, general services-specific industry experience.
- Experience and knowledge of best practices surrounding NetSuite technical capabilities such as: SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and SuiteTalk.
- Effectiveness in designing end-to-end solutions with these capabilities in mind.
Nice To Haves
- NetSuite certifications highly preferred – NetSuite ERP consultant, NetSuite Certified Administrator, and SuiteFoundation.
- Experience with specialized NetSuite process areas and products is preferred, these include: Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Revenue Management, Demand Planning, Services Resource Planning, OpenAir, and SuiteCommerce Advanced.
- Ability to lead certain components of projects with minimal supervision and have the ability to be “The Lead” on mid-sized engagements.
- Continuous improvement as you train to be a subject matter expert with NetSuite while working alongside peers and have significant exposure to consultants senior to you.
- Working with people in a career where you will be client facing.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects by translating complex business requirements and processes into NetSuite technical designs.
- Deliver solutions across all project phases, including discovery, design, build, testing, training, and deployment.
- Perform fit/gap analysis on business requirements for system design and execution.
- Develop wireframe and schematic diagrams to support customer requirements gathering and business process discovery.
- Lead project management activities such as project planning, creation of work breakdown structures, and change control.
- Collaborate with the in-house development team to implement custom solutions and develop Technical Design Documents.
- Act proactively as a trusted client advocate by providing implementation best practices.
- Contribute to internal MHI initiatives, including resource mentorship and ongoing NetSuite education.
- Develop NetSuite product skills in all areas as required by customer engagements.
