Senior Consultants play an important role in researching and developing client recommendations as part of project teams; primary responsibilities for the position include the following: Leading targeted secondary research (e.g., desk research, secondary data analysis) and primary research (e.g., interviews with key opinion leaders / insurance payers) with little to no oversight Synthesizing research insights to develop logical and effective client-ready recommendations Independently running work streams and/or entire projects, handling day-to-day client-facing responsibilities, and ensuring deliverable deadlines are met Working closely with senior team members to present findings to clients and assist with business development opportunities Developing high-quality client communications and deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint slides, Excel models) Communicating verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion Contributing to the development of the firm’s capabilities and infrastructure, leveraging knowledge and expertise in specific disease areas or project types Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. All other duties as assigned. In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes the following unique responsibilities: Working closely with junior team members not only to ensure project delivery goals are met, but also to train staff on best practices and guide professional development Supporting the development of a high-performance culture by being a role model for junior staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3 years of experience at a life science consultancy, with experience running projects and handling consultant-level responsibilities
  • A strong passion for—and understanding of dynamics and issues in—the pharma and biotech industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., business, economics, life sciences, engineering) and strong academic record
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
