The Senior Consultant I will provide technical expertise on project tasks to ensure quality services are delivered on schedule and within the available budget to meet customer requirements. This includes providing frequent updates to the project manager. As part of a project team, Senior Consultant I will maintain relationships with clients and key decision makers to help identify new business opportunities. This position will support multiple cybersecurity opportunities and engagements, not just one project. The role involves supporting multiple client engagements including NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorization (A&A), security control implementation and validation, cyber compliance reviews and inspection support, vulnerability assessment, scanning, and remediation, and secure configuration, patching, and system hardening. The consultant will also prepare and maintain cybersecurity artifacts such as SSPs, POA&Ms, policies, procedures, risk documentation, and assessment support materials. They will review systems, architectures, and documentation against various cybersecurity requirements and develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate new business opportunities. The role also includes promoting ABS Consulting cybersecurity products and services through marketing activities, conference presentations, and technical whitepapers. While the position is remote, regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is a core part of the role.
