About The Position

This role involves leading the day-to-day delivery of complex client engagements in the federal health advisory sector. The consultant will apply structured problem-solving and analytical methods to address client challenges, oversee quantitative and qualitative analyses, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Key aspects include managing project plans, timelines, and risks, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and serving as a primary client contact. The position also involves coaching and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Progressive experience in management consulting, healthcare, public sector, or related advisory environments.
Minimum 3-5 years of prior professional experience (advanced degree can be considered in lieu of years of work experience).
Experience working with healthcare payers, with emphasis on Medical Management (e.g. Utilization Management) strategy and implementation.
Demonstrated experience leading workstreams or projects, including managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience synthesizing complex information for senior audiences.
Experience collaborating with and developing junior staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain a Public trust Clearance (US citizenship required).

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting federal health clients or large, complex healthcare organizations.
Familiarity with strategic planning, operating model design, workforce planning, or transformation initiatives.
Familiarity or experience with medical evidence research and policy development.
Experience managing client relationships in a consulting environment.
Prior people-manager experience or demonstrated readiness to take on formal people-management responsibilities.
