About The Position

NERA Economic Consulting is seeking an intellectually curious, independent-minded team player with an entrepreneurial spirit to join its Energy line of business as a Senior Consultant or Director. This role involves using quantitative methods to analyze energy and transportation markets, evaluate regulation and competition, and conduct analyses for energy and transportation regulatory and commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have experience across key verticals such as electricity, O&G, and renewables, and a broad regulatory/litigation background. This is an opportunity to join a global firm and operate independently, building and running a "microbusiness" within a larger platform, while owning client relationships and delivering high-quality work.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience.
• Expertise in supporting energy clients on high-value matters.
• Experience testifying.
• Experience leading projects.
• Experience managing P&L.
• Interest in and passion for owning client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
• Experience across key verticals such as electricity, O&G, and renewables.
• Broad regulatory/litigation background.

Responsibilities

• Support energy clients on high-value matters.
