About The Position

The Credits and Incentives Senior Consultant works with a team in a fast-paced environment to identify financial assistance, tax savings, and other incentive-related opportunities for clients. The role supports some of the largest companies in the United States as they evaluate domestic capital expansions and seek to maximize economic development incentives. The Senior Consultant corresponds with client management to obtain information needed to maximize incentives, researches state and local economic development programs, and determines prospective incentive benefits for capital projects. The position provides exposure to how large companies allocate capital to improve project returns and lower costs. This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected to work in the office four days per week during the first several months. Paid parking is included. The position involves very minimal independent travel, probably less than 5% during the first year, although travel to client locations and government offices is part of the duties. The work environment is standard indoor, with occasional long periods of sitting at a computer or standing while copying, and regular interaction with employees and clients in person, by email, and by telephone.
