The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with excellent client-facing skills. Experience working on large-scale data centre, industrial, infrastructure, or complex commercial projects will be viewed favorably, particularly where lender advisory, project monitoring, or project controls responsibilities were a core component of the role. You are an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant with a minimum of 5 - 10 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience within construction, project management, project controls, infrastructure advisory, lender's technical advisory, or a related construction consulting environment.
  • Direct experience preparing and/or reviewing Technical Due Diligence Reports and Construction Monitoring Reports on behalf of lenders or financial institutions.
  • A recognized university degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data center developments and mission-critical facilities is strongly preferred.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations is a bonus (CIQS / RICS)

Responsibilities

  • Leading the preparation of Technical Due Diligence Reports for lenders, investors, and financial institutions , with a focus on mission-critical and data centre developments.
  • Managing and preparing Monthly Monitoring Reports throughout the construction phase, providing lenders with independent assessments of project progress, risks, costs, schedule, and overall project health.
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to lenders throughout the project lifecycle, providing insight on contractual documentation, procurement strategies, project execution plans, budgets, schedules, operational readiness, and project risks.
  • Supporting complex data centre developments through all stages of delivery, including planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
  • Research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published data
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
  • Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared.
  • Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits
  • Ensuring commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
  • Ensuring service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment
