About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Consultant with deep experience working with data from Aladdin to support investment, risk, and operational data needs across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who understands investment workflows, works effectively with complex datasets, and can turn data into clear reporting, analysis, and process improvements. The Senior Consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to support data analysis, reporting design, operating model improvements, and scalable data solutions using Aladdin data. The ideal candidate combines strong investment data knowledge with hands-on analytical skills and the ability to improve how data is used across teams.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial services, asset management, or data-focused transformation roles.
- Strong experience working with data from Aladdin in an analytics, operations, implementation, or platform support capacity.
- Understanding of investment management concepts such as portfolios, holdings, benchmarks, exposures, performance, and risk.
- Experience translating business problems into structured analysis, requirements, and practical solutions.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with experience working across large and complex datasets.
- Experience with reporting, dashboarding, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and project execution skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting Aladdin-related implementations, data onboarding, reporting transformations, or operating model enhancements.
- Familiarity with asset management operations, middle office workflows, or investment data architecture.
- Experience with Python, data modeling, or cloud-based data environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, controls, and reconciliation frameworks within financial services.
- MBA, CFA, CAIA, or other relevant professional certification.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements related to investment, risk, operations, and performance data and reporting.
- Analyze and interpret data sourced from Aladdin to identify trends, gaps, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into data requirements, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytical outputs.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes across investment and operational datasets.
- Prepare clear summaries, recommendations, and implementation plans for business stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitate working sessions with business and technical teams to define processes, requirements, and data usage models.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and platform teams to support data integration, transformation, and downstream use of Aladdin data.
- Provide subject matter expertise across portfolio, benchmark, holdings, performance, risk, and related investment data domains.
- Improve governance, controls, and documentation for critical investment data and reporting processes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
