Job Purpose As a Senior Consultant specializing in Anthropic AI, you will sit at the intersection of enterprise cloud architecture and generative AI. You will be a part of the founding team as a core contributor to Astound Digital’s Anthropic AI Practice. You will serve as both a technical and functional expert, partnering with global clients to maximize platform utilization through intelligent automation. Your role involves a blend of high-level thought leadership and hands-on development, leveraging Claude Code and advanced AI frameworks to improve organizational efficiency and deliver next-generation digital outcomes.

Requirements

3+ years of Software Engineering or Software Development experience
Prior consulting or client-facing project experience
6 months to 1 year of dedicated experience working with Anthropic/Claude models
Completion of coursework in Anthropic Academy and familiarity with Co-work and Claude Code.
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for building AI-integrated applications
Working knowledge of prompt engineering techniques (chain-of-thought, few-shot, system prompting)
Proficiency in Salesforce development including Apex Classes, Triggers, Web Services, and Aura Components.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including object-oriented design and modularity.
Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to translate complex application logic into clear documentation.
Aspiration to receive Anthropic Architect certification as it becomes available.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LanCHain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen
Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or multi-agent orchestration patterns
Exposure to Gemini, OpenAI, and/or AWS Bedrock.
Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and RAG architectures

Responsibilities

Support the design and development of Claude-powered applications, agents, and workflows for enterprise clients
Translate client requirements into technical specifications and AI solution architectures
Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering activities
Assist in developing proof-of-concept prototypes and iterating based on stakeholder feedback
Build and integrate solutions using the Anthropic API, including prompt engineering, tool use, and multi-turn conversation design
Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and vector database integrations
Develop and evaluate AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom implementations
Write clean, well-documented Python or JavaScript/TypeScript code for AI application back-ends
Manage the full system release schedule and rollout process for assigned applications and AI-integrated projects.
Research evolving Anthropic features to provide gap analyses and recommend features that improve organizational effectiveness.
Lead the integration of Salesforce with third-party systems, AppExchange products, and AI orchestration layers such as AWS Bedrock.
Author and maintain comprehensive system configuration documentation, utilizing Co-work for collaborative AI-driven documentation and support.
Partner with distributed delivery teams as a technical lead to drive best practices in AI prompt engineering, automation, and modular software design.
