Senior Construction Scheduler
About The Position
The client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Scheduler to join a large-scale project (approximately $300M–$400M+) at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. This is a long-term assignment with continuity through 2028, requiring the scheduler to be embedded with the contractor team. The role involves supporting planning, sequencing, and schedule management for a technically complex laboratory/science & technology building currently under construction. This is not a remote support role; strong on-site collaboration with project leadership, superintendents, and trade partners is expected. The Scheduler will also represent the company in a client-facing environment, requiring strong professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal judgment.
Requirements
- Experience on large projects ($300M–$400M+)
- Background in science/tech, pharma, healthcare, advanced lab, or mission-critical buildings
- Strong command of Primavera P6
- Experience working embedded with a project team
- Ability to work full-time on-site (with flexibility for travel-based candidates)
- Comfortable in client-facing environments
- Communicate clearly and professionally with senior project stakeholders
- Demonstrate good judgment in both formal and informal settings
- Capable of representing the company in work and after-work environments (e.g., team dinners, client events, industry functions)
- Professional presence and situational awareness
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of the project schedule
